will it do the job?
will it do the job?
Well I'm about to drop in my new 350, and I have a couple of questions, first, which aluminum manifold will fit under my hood, with the carb on top? Second, will my little 305 qjet feed my 350? I think the qjet is 650cfm or at least capable, so uhhh, will that feed my 350? The 350 is a 00' Goodwrench with a XE262 cam, and stock heads for now, soon to be vortech, and vortech intake (will that fit under the hood?). Anything I should do to this QJet first?

Yes to everything. See the tech articles for getting the most out of the q-jet. If you're going Vortecs in the near future, it doesn't make much sense to get a new manifold now that won't fit them later. But, Performer, Action +, ZZ4 (GM Performance Parts) will all fit.
With the Vortecs, the only problem you may encounter is the lack of exhaust cross-over passages in the head to feed the EGR valve. That can be overcome by routing exhaust from the exhaust manifold/header up to the cross-over passage in the intake.
