If i have not cat, smog pump, and change my intake and carb, .....
if i do those four things plus add headers, will i be able to rip out all my vaccum hoses and pollution control garbage? just wondering i really would like to know...thanks in advance..BTW i have a LG4......

im not real familiar with the lg4 but you can on a lo3 as long as you plug the lines...doesnt even throw a computer code...i swear the lg4s have so much **** going everywhere...way more hoses and stuff than a lo3...doesnt make since to me im gonna carb my 305 soon and start saving for a 350 (yay)

I wouldnt think so cause the carbed engine pretty much controls the car. Not much wiring and hoses. Kinda hard to explain but I'm sure you can figure it out.

i changed my set up like the way you are describing...1406 edelbrock 600cfm carb,performer intake,accel hei distributer, and that was it....all of the smog and other crap was yanked after that was done
