Removing EGR, need help
I am taking the egr and my stock q-jet out of my 86 t/a. It is the LG4 engine, and I will probably get the Demon 600cfm carb for it. What do i need to do in order for the new carb to work, and what do i need to keep in terms of all those damn hoses on my valve covers? Thanks a lot.

1st, I don't think you'll see much improvement if any over simply working with your q-jet. It'll cost you a lot more money to do what you're suggesting, that's for sure.
But, to make the Demon work, you need to get a non-CC vacuum/mechanical advance distributor since the computer won't control the distributor properly without the CC carb.
The hoses to the valve cover are associated with the PCV system, not the EGR. So, you need to keep the one with the PCV valve that goes to the driver's side cover to the carb base, and at least put a breather cap in the one on the passenger side cover.

Oh, you'll probably need a carb adapter or replace the intake manifold to get the Demon to mount as well.
