Swapping to 350, keeping 305 manifold and CC Carb?

I'm swapping in a 350 with 87 iron heads into my 86 FB, and want to know if there's anything I'll need to do with the stock LG4 Carb? Will my 305 manifold fit, or do I need a new one?

Oh yeah, forgot to mention I'm in CA, and the car needs to pass smog, which is why I'm asking about keeing the stock intake manifold. So if I do need to change the manifold it has to be 50 state legal.

Thanks,

GP

Is the manifold from an 87 LG-4? If yes, it should bolt right up. If its from 86-prior, theres I think the two middle holes on each side that have to be elongated. Takes a few minutes with a drill, no big deal. You could also get an Edelbrock performer with EGR provisions.

The secondaries will benefit from tuning, but that's true even with the LG4.

Do something about that lousy exhaust, like TES or Hooker 2055's (SLPs if you're up to it), high flow 3" cat & catback. All smog legal. The 2055's have a CARB EO tag welded onto the #1 primary tube.

Yes, it is an 86 manifold. I do plan on the exhaust mods, but I need to get the engine replaced first. Priorities you know Stock 305 threw a rod, and I just happen to have a fresh 87 350 block and heads lying around
