Intake Question

I am thinking about upgrading my current carb and intake from a
600 holley and edelbrock performer to a Wiend Stealth and 750
holley.I am using Dart Sportman II heads and was wondering if
anyone knows how the ports line up.(should I gasket match the
intake or not)I am running a Comp Cam XE262 and shorty headers and was wondering what gains I might expect?

You should see a decent gain. No reason to think the ports wont line up, but never hurts to stick a gasket on and check.

I would like to ask this same question but with a Stealth and AFR 195's.When I built my motor I never bothered to check the port match between these two,was in a rush to get it assembled and running for the summer season.I didn't worry about port matching these two pieces at that time, the only detail left out of the assembly and have been curious to know how out of wack they may or may not be.Thanks much..
