Need higher fow intank pump!

I have swithched from TPI to carb . I would like to keep the intank pump by swithching to a higher flowing one. I use a mallory return style regulator now. I saw that holley has one 255 lph (67) gallons per hour. How much does the stock pump put out? My engine runs fine under normal driving conditions but runs out of fuel on top end. Is there any aftermarket intank pumps that will put out more than the holley. My engine specs are 388ci 60over, 10.5 compresion, edelbrock victor Jr heads, Comp extreme roller cam 236, 242 at .50 aprox 550/ 570 lift with 1.6 roller rockers, 110 lobe seperation, edelbrock 750 carb, rpm intake manifold. 410 gears, 3000 stall. Any advice would be appreciated! Wiill the HOLLEY 255 feed my engine?

Many on this board have used the Mallory regulator with a TPI pump to feed a carb successfully. Even a stock pump. It's likely that your OE pump is getting tired. Switching to a aftermarket high flow in-tank would almost certainly be adequate to feed up to 500 HP or so. Just make sure you are actually getting a fill 12V back to that pump. Having tired wiring or a shotty FP relay will make even the best pump underperform drastically.

I actually ran into the same problem with my motor. My car dies when I'm at WOT for more than 7 sec straight. I decided to get the summit fuel kit that runs 140gph and keep the intank in there as well. Will the stock intank pump be enough to run a nitrous setup? It must maintain at least 5psi.

Jason,
That pump will feed your ride with no problem.
