my current setup vs tpi
my current setup vs tpi
would there be any power to make by switching out my 600 carb and RPM intake for a tpi setup? just wondering. i here lots of talk back and forth from tpi and carb guys. i dont think it would really make much difference. any dynos or solid proof of power made or lost in switching from carb to tpi or vice versa?

I doubt there would be any real difference, but if you do it, ill take the dist, intake, fuel pump off your hands since im going from CFI to CARB in the next month.
Gonna go with a edelbrock performer rpm, 650 holley vac sec, mech fuel pump, and a k&n open element. And then eventually put on a 70-80 shot.
Hopefully this will get me into the low-mid 14's and wake my doggy *** 305 up.
Then with exhaust and lower gears out back, should get me into the 13's hopefully, we'll see though, we'll see.

13's seems to be everyones goals with a 305. its really not that hard. its just that everyone who plans on doing it either A: quits before they get their, or B: gets a 350. lol. plenty of 305s are in the 13's most people just lack the determination to see it through.
