carb suggestion
carb suggestion
as the title says...
could some of you vetrans out there give me some help with picking out a carburator for me? i have a holley 650 right now... forgot the #but it is the one that is the direct replacement for the qjet (vac secondaries, dubl. pump) i think its screwed up. but i also think its too small for what i have right now.
here is my setup right now...
383 short block 9.5:1
extreme energy 274 hyd roller
1.6 magnum roller tip rockers
sportsman II heads w/ 72cc chambers
headman headers with 3" exhaust
i know absoultly NOTHING about carbs, so if someone can help that would be great thanks

What exactly is wrong with it?
It is probably borderline-small, but should run okay. You might PM RB83L69, he seems to be one guy who has had some luck with those spreadbore Holleys (I've never seen one that worked right, but I don't get out much...).
