i have a 84 z28 ho with dual intake tubes. i want to get new tubes mine are trashed where do i get them front. how hard is it to put my airducts lower to the ground. where should i put them. do i have worry about rain getting in if i go through a puddle

you can get new tubes direct from GM. mount them in the stock location. it won't make any difference if you try to put them lower to the ground.

sure it matters where the air comes from.you can move the scoops or intakes lower so they can get more air then the stock locations.Its not gonna make a whole lot more power,if any.The price GM wants for those scoops is gonna make you wanna do this anyway.

The price GM wants for those scoops is gonna make you wanna do this anyway.
the scoops are not expensive. it's the filter housing that is $200. i really dont see a hp improvement if you mount the scoops lower. the dual snorkel intake takes in plenty of cool, dense air in stock location.
