? about 87 LG4

Couple questions about the 87 firebird with the Lg4 w/ the carb.
1. Is it a qjet or carb?
2. Does that car have a computer chip that I can adjust for more
pep?
3. The car runs rough when cold and bogs down or hesitates
when I accelerate from stop.
any answers to these ? would help I'm new at working on cars.
Thanx

A good starting point would be to check all of the vacuum hoses on the carburator. Mine ran kinda crappy while accelerating but is much, much better now I replaced the cracked/broken vacuum hoses.

That's what Pontiac called their highest level performance suspension package on the 3rd gen Formulas and Trans Ams (and GTA's also, I beleive) that included 16" wheels and z-rated 245/50R16 tires from the factory. Don't confuse it with a 4th gen WS-6 car that gets suspension, wheels, ram air hood, etc. It's not that comprehensive an option on the 3rd gens.

I am looking at an 85 that has WS6 and 15 inch wheels. The GTA wheels were the first 16s, but it didn't have em. Not sure if they existed.
