normal idle?

I just advanced my timing and finally got my secondaries to open and its amazing the difference it made in the butt dyno, but i was just wondering what the normal idle should be? after advancing the timing it was idling at 750 now its idling at 1500...should i leave it or set it back at 750?
thanks

Set the idle back to where it feels comfortable to you. When I had my 700r4 in with the Coan 2800 stall, it would'nt slip enough in gear with my cam, so as soon as I put it in drive it'd drop down to 500rpm, in park I had it set at 1200rpm to compensate for the pulling down of the tranny-sounded cool as hell just lumpin away at stoplights, real attention getter, but still made me mad, cause I thought that the convertor would slip a little more at idle. With the new TH350 and 3500 stall it slips a little more so I was able to lower my idle speed down to 900 in park and it only drops to about 800 in gear, that's about where I like my combo, that way it is'nt really racing in park, and idles well at stoplights.
