I had my carb tuned because of fuel slosh under hard braking and cornering. I had to hit the brakes pretty hard and the car died. I haven't noticed any stumbling during braking though like I used to.

I was just wondering if i could take the floats down a bit to compensate for the slosh.

Or I can do what someone else told me:
Get some Vac tube and send it from one vent tube to the other. Then make two holes .5 inch from the center bolt where the air cleaner is. This allows venting without the fuel sloshing down into the carb.

Ah well. I guess I better go out and do it rather than ask u guys.

You always want to have your floats adjusted properly, otherwise you'll end up with other problems besides fuel slosh. Here's a couple pics of the "anti-slosh" tube

That vent hose trick does work, but make sure your floats are set right first. Better to just have them set right than bandaid the problem. If you can't get rid of it by playing with the bowl level, then do the hose.
