Bogging down when full throttle from Idle. Carb??
Ok, here's the deal. I got a buddy with a ski boat and a chevy 350 engine with a Holey 4 barrel 650 carb.
If he feathers the throttle, no proble, she runs great. Even going full throttle from 50%, no problem.. But from Idle to full throttle, like when waterskiing or driving the boat onto the trailer, it Boggs bigtime...
Any thoughts? New wires, plugs. It is a points system, but those are all in good shape...
I told him to swap in a TPI setup, but just got dirty looks...
Any insight would be great.

He't got some problem with the accelerator pump. Cloged, too small, too big, pump lash set wrong, torn diaphram, or the wrong cam. You're gonna have to do some investigation to find out which.
