carb porting

has anyone here done carb porting and does anyone here have any info on this.

Car: 86 firebird with 98 firebird interi

Engine: pump gas 427sbc Dart Lil M 13.5:1

Transmission: Oldani TH400 w/ BTE 9" convertor

Axle/Gears: 31 spline Moser/full spool/4.11Rich

I've seen plenty of home grown carb porting/milling on Holleys; don't know what your working with. They usually take the main body apart, mill off the choke tower and then use the same abrasive thing you port heads with to blend it into the venturi area for a smoother air flow coming in.
