Holley 80457S, dumping fuel overnight.

This carb seems to dump alot if not all the fuel thats in the fuel bowls overnight. When i start it in the morning it just spits out black smoke from the tailpipes and smells like raw fuel. I cant seem to find anything abnormal, fuel level is perfect and other then the overnight problem it runs great. Whats causing it to loose the fuel? I can take the carb off and it doesent poor fuel on the ground so its gotta be a slow leak but where?? The only thing I have done to this carb out of the ordinary is bend the choke lever so it operates smoothly.

I found something interesting today. I hooked up the vacuum guage to the manifold vac source and when I pulled the plug to do so there was a small amount of fuel on the plug.. related??

A cracked carb body is the only way I can imagine this happening. Mine stays full for weeks.

But then, I've been known to be short on imagination...

Thats what I was thinking (dident want to think it) but I cant see anything wrong with the carb. Wouldent a craked main body cause irratic vacuume readings? My vacuum stays steady so I dunno.
