Passenger side of the carb, look for a red plastic arm (fast idle cam) and the screw should be kinda tucked out of the way down below. Just run your fingers around until you feel it.

I found it and messed with it some. at first seemed to help dramatically. I screwed it out then revved just a little and the idle went down to 750rpm...perfect....ran bad tho come to find out my timing is 4 degrees retarded...advance it back up and the idle speed goes right up with it.
with 6 degrees base it shot gas up under the hood (no cleaner they wont fit) it sprayed all over the place.

Set your idle at around 650 rpm, adjust your timing, and set your idle again... You really need to get an air cleaner on there too. When the gas shot up over everything, did you see it shoot out? Have you set the float levels yet?

yeah i saw it
it came from the drain holes i think. I adjusted the Ful pressure down and it calmed it down alot. messed with the timing some to so its running much better now and idling at a steady 750rpm
