choke adjustments
hey guys i have an edelbrock carb with an electric choek i put on it. now i have it all adjusted and i go out in the morning and push the peddle to the floor once then turn the key and she starts rigth up and idles at like 1200 right where i wunt it to, but if i touch the gas it will turn the choke off completly and the car will wunt to stall so i gotta foot choke it. now i thougth u had the 12v to the coils so they warm up slowly right? well why doesn't mine do this? it seems to heat them up instantly. now do u guys have a switch for your choke and whenu wunna go u hit the switch and u are good to go or wut? thanks

I'm not sure exactly what type of choke you've added, but the "normal" round-style thermostat housing can be rotated to keep it on longer (often marked "richer"). You might want to give that a try.

yes i have the stock edelbrock round choke with the cap that u turn, and i have messed with thing a million times and nuthin works. i just put a switch inbetween the 12v goin to the choke so i will just leave it off in the morn then when its al warmed up i will hit the switchj to turn the choke off cause it turns off instantly right now. lije i start it up and its on fast idle then i hit the gas as soon as it starts and it will turn the choke off
