That is where teh manual choke linkage goes. its just not there. thats all. also you should be able to use that linkage. any speed shop will have the linkgae adapation kit to make it work. with that holley, you can probably just keep the choke wide open, since they just dump gas in anyhow. even in teh coldest of weather it'll fire up with a pump or too. what type of cables do you need on it anyway??

well i'm in florida so cold weather is non-existant
as far as lines go... i was thinking about putting a manual choke cable on (rich mixture + spark plugs in tailpipe = fun
) but I might just leave it off... other than that: distributor vaccuum advance can and the brakes....

Just so you'll know, it is also missing the secondary lock-out link (on the driver's side) that keeps the secondaries from opening more than the primaries.
As far as needing a choke, the difference between 60 degrees and operating temperature should make a big difference in how the carb functions. For a daily driver, if you don't need a choke to start and run after sitting all night, your carb isn't properly tuned.

I didn't mean to imply that the carb will run, and operate fine, but it will fire up, and run, with the choke open in cold weather. it will stumble and run bad untill the car warms up, but it will work.

In my area you can buy junk condition 600 CFM Holleys for about $25 each at flea markets, etc. Buy one of them and swipe everything you need in one shot- lots cheaper than buying all this misc. stuff from Holley at list price.
