allright my car started idling high today. it idles at about 1000 in gear and about 1900 in park. how can i fix this. it is a manual choke holley carburetor 600 cfm with a vacuum secondary. someone said something about a fast idle screw?? what is that and where is it on my carb??? i do have a screw that adjusts idle but it is not touching anything. plz help me!!

 

i went to the parts store and they said my alternator was not putting out anything!! can this cause a high idle?? i had a problem similar to this before but im not sure?? please help me yall. i just put a cutout onto this beast and id like it to idle in the 500-800 range so i can hear myself think!!! anyways any help would be appreciated

 

are the secondaries stuck open a little bit??

it just suddenly started idling high? vacuum leak will make the idle go up.........

 

figured it out threw an alternator belt stupid looked at that last haha
