does my carb need adjusting?
i swapped a 305 with an edelbrock carb for a 79 350 and i kept the 305 intake manifold, and installed headers. i also kept the carb, its a 600cfm performer with manual choke.does it need to be adjusted again? it costs money just to have them hook it up to the machine so i dont want to do it unless i have to. also what other things should i do? thanks

Most likely, the carb isn't doing for the 350 what it was doing for the 305. Or, to put it another way, it isn't allowing the 350 to be all that it can be if adjusted/tuned for a 305.
You paid money to have the carb adjusted based on the readings of some sort of machine? You did more than what probably 99% of carb owners/tuners out there do.
