ok my car is runnig fine but the other day i found a vacume leak at my intake manifold base and fixed it now when im cruzing down the road and i let my foot of the gas my car puffs out white smoke.
could it be my idle/air screws are now misadjusted from finding and fixing the vacume leak? if so how do i go about readjusting them

ohhh nooo
OMG, white smoke is antifreeze being burned...
being a carbed car, it might be :
-Head gasket
-Intake gasket (most likely no white smoke, but antifreeze in oil)
-Cracked intake (most likely no white smoke, but antifreeze in oil)
-Cracked head
-Cracked block (in a cylinder)
So check out the antifreeze level in the reserve & in the rad itself.
Let's hope it's just an "additive" that got in the fuel...
There is some of that "cylinder & valves cleaner" that can make a car smoke for a good 20min like it has a cracke head... I did that once with a civic...

how did you find & fix the leak on your manifold?
sbc intake manifolds have coolant running through them.
