Roller timing chain or gear drive?

Roller timing chain or gear drive?

Now that I've decided to eliminate the efi, should I use a gear drive, or should I get a timing chain? I assume the gear drive would be more reliable. Would it rob power or would both be about the same? I'm using a '99 model L31 350 so I know that either one would have to be for a factory roller motor. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I'd suggest not using a gear drive, or that "truck roller" chain.

Use a Comp 3136.
