Transmission: 700r-4 shift kit
computer controlled carb
i have a LG4 motor in my 86 trans am and i was just wondering if it is possible to change my carb over to a non computer controlled carb while staying emisson legal. if i can, how?

Depends on where you live and what "emissions legal" means to you.
Otherwise you just need a non-CC carb and non-CC distributor....then change some wiring around.

you also need a switch to lock up your torque converter....
There really isnt any reason to change, the CCC is a pretty good setup. I run one on my T/A and love it. I guess I beat five7 to saying the ccc is worth keeping. But I think the money to change would be better spent on other mods.
