switching from vacuum to mechanical secondaries
Is there anyway that I can rig up my stock quadrajet so its mechanical secondaries instead of vacuum? Just curious..

Axle/Gears: 3.25:1
If you do remove the air valve from the carb you'll have to max out the acellerator pump and you'll also have to run a very good converter to avoid the bog that you'll get.
If you have a big engine and light-weight car you can probably get away with it no problem.
If you have a 305 in a 3300+ lb car, then you'll probably not be happy with the results.
