adjusting choke on cc quadrajet (High idle)

What exactly do I have to do to adjust the temp that the choke works? The car runs good once it is warmed up. It starts up good, but will die back out after a few seconds if the high idle isnt working. The high idle doesnt seem to work unless it is real cold out but it could be something other than temp. I am under the impression that the high idle is controlled by the choke. Is this correct. I can tell you that my choke works because I have watched it and it starts closed and opens some then slowly opens the rest of the way, but it doesnt high idle. I dont know what it could be so if anyone has any suggestions let me know.

Thanks

Ben

Look at the linkage on the right side of the carb, down low, around the primary throttle shaft. There's an adjustment screw for that.

Im no expert but on the passenger side of the carb, kind of near the bottom, you will see a torx screw, that screw adjusts the fast idle when the choke is on .
When the choke opens it kicks off the fast idle
I think that is correct
