i have no clue about holly help

k well i dont no what i hit but my car is reving so high if i put it in drive the tires will spin. i dont no how to turn down my holly carb can someone please tell me how to turn down the idle.

ok this might make it more easy here is a pic of my carb can some one just point were the adjust to bring down the idle rpm please

i have been reading old posts and i am suppost to turn it 7 time? so i should close the screw and then turn it 7 time.... or while the car is on turn the screw till it idles fine??? please any info would be great the car is idleing so high is makeing my car shake really bad and in drive tires start to spin and back of car goes up like i am about to do a brake stand that cant be good!

ok did a bit of looking in and my carb is a manual choke. i can see the Control Cable **** just under my strearing wheel but its not hooked up to the carb the pice with the cable is just sitting beside the carb could that be the reasion i am idleing so flippin high??

Axle/Gears: 12B-3.73/9"-3.89
If the choke is partially on, it includes a "fast idle cam" that will raise your idle speed.

So, yes, first make sure the choke is fully open before you mess with the screw Ron pointed out.

(The "7 turns" thing was for the idle mixture screws, and the number itself is associated with computer-controlled q-jets, which obviously doesn't apply to you.)
