vac. reading & power valve
hey all i just took a vac. reading and if it's correct it says about 19 20 hg
just wondering if that was good?
also would that mean i should get a 9.5 power valve or 2 sizes below that 7.5? i believe the jets are 64 front and 68's in the back
thanks

From http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/TechSer...o/TI-222A.html :
"A stock engine, or one that is only mildly built for street use, will have high manifold vacuum at idle speeds. To determine the correct power valve the vehicle should be driven at various steady speeds and vacuum readings taken. The power valve selected should have an opening point about 2" Hg below the lowest steady speed engine vacuum observed."
Sounds like you have a stock or only mildly built for street use engine. So, you need to take more vacuum readings.
