holly warning...

i have a holly 650 dp with mechanical secondaries. i was reading in the begining of the manual and it says not to use it on an auto tranny with overdrive...why? it says it WILL ruin it, i dont see how a carb could do such a thing.

also, my gas mielage sucks royally (not complaining) and ive heard its mainly due to the accelerator pump in the secondaries. would switching to a smaller size help? what would happen if i disconnected it all together? i know it would bring down power but could i? thanks

If I were you I'd stick with a 600 vac. secondary carb.

The throttle arm doesn't have the correct geometry to properly operate the transmission throttle valve cable.
