i put a vaccum gauge on my car today to tell me what power valve i need for my holley carb. I thought i would see around 5 inches of vaccum or so, but the gauge says i have 19

i know the gauge is right too, since it was calibrated when i picked it up from my dads work.

isnt this to high of vaccum? what do i do?

 

What are the cam spec's, and what size rocker's are you using? A reading of 19 is perfect bro, and a reading of only 5 would indicate a serious vacuum leak somewhere....
