how can you tell if your carb is a DP
how can you tell if your carb is a DP
I was looking at my carb today, trying to figure out what exactly I had and I noticed that only one side of the carb shot fuel when pulling on the throttle. Does that mean it is not a DP, because from the guy who sold me the car he said it was. Any help would be appreciated.

It will have an acellerator pump on each bowl, and the corresponding jets that shoot out on the top. It will also have all the mechanical linkages for the 2 pumps.

The picture in this thread is of a vacuum secondary carb.
The tell-tale sign is the vacuum housing on the right/rear side.
