I just installed the zz4 cam in my LG4, removed the ac and AIR pump, and my car went a tenth slower. Could temp have an effect on this? It was 93 today and I ran a 16.25 and a couple weeks ago it was 77 and I ran 16.16 (stock cam and ac and AIR)

 

Yes hot weather always slows you down

 

a zz4 cam is a lot of cam for a near-stock 305 in my opinion. i drive stick so i dont know too much about stall converters but i bet you need a higher stall and maybe a better intake and full exhaust because that cam has a lot of lift and a decent amount of duration (for a 305 anyway)
