I was told to post this question over here since I might get a better response...I have an 84 LG4 and when you turn the ignition on theres a clicking noise coming from the carb and yes its all stock if that helps any! I would like to find out what this is...

Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, 3.23 non-LS
It is normal. Be concerned if you don't hear it. It is the Mixture Control (M/C) solenoid. It moves up and down to allow more or less fuel into the mixture. It is controled by the ECM computer.
