rasing rpms
ok my neighbor has an 84camaro and he just dropped in a 350 well he can get it to rev high enough so my question is how or what should we do to raise his rpms,
can we raise it with the screw against the throttle cable on the carb.
i myself am a newbie to carbs. , my camaro is tbi
thanks for the info

"can" or "can't" get RPMs high enough.
What RPMs need to be raised, idle or cruise or wide open throttle?
I'm afraid your post is so discombobulated that no help is possible until you try to state again what the problem is, hopefully this time so it can be understood.

That screw you are talking about will adjust the idle speed. Turn it in, and idle will go up.
I'd only turn it in 1/2 turn incriments, yank open the throttle a few times so it can "reset" itself, then see were its at.
Turning the screw in will raise the idle, turning it out will lower it.
This is assuming that the idle is what you want to adjust, of course, but Five7 is kinda right... it is sorta hard to understand what exactly you are asking.
