Is a 750VS too much for my L69?
My computer took a dump. I have a 750VS Holley to put on it and a non-CC dist. Is this too much for a L69/5-speed combo? If so, could I jet it down to make it work ok? I need help ASAP because my car is barely running right now and I drive about 25 miles to work on way every day. Thanks in advance.

It's more than it needs, but not too big to work.
Jetting is basic tuning. Regardless of what engine you intend to put a carb on, you should plan on rejetting to get it tuned properly.
You may need to play with secondary springs to get proper full throttle performance w/o bog.

You'd want to change the Qjet intake manifold to a square flange holley patterened intake like a Performer EPS for best results.
( A weiand Stealth Dual plane would be another good choice)
The 750VS carb should work pretty well, as it is on your motor.
It may want slightly leaner primary main jetting.
72 is stock. try it as is. then pickup a set of #70 main jets and try that. Usually works pretty good like this.
