62 to 64 jets in Holley what a difference

Thought I would share this with everyone since some of you have the same problem I have. The car would vibrate really bad around 2000 to 3000 rpm. I checked the ignition system real well and found no faults with it. I went the extra step and re routed all my plug wires and put them in looms. I still had the stumble and vibration. I figured what the heck the only think I havent done was check for a lean mis. So I removed to 8.5 powervalve and replaced it with the 6.5 I had with the carb and uped the main jetsfrom 62 to 66. I still have a vibration not as bad. The car pulls much stronger than previous. I plan to go up to 68 primaries since the plugs look too clean still and would rather be a little rich than lean. I did notice a collector gasket leaking. I will fix that first, not sure if an exhaust leak here would cause a problem. What do you guys think oh and base timing is 16 degrees.

The header leak would cause the vibration, I had that happen to a few of my cars and it vibrated until I tightened up the headers.

I suspect the headers is allowing fresh air in around the collector and causing the rumble. I will be fixing that tomorrow
