Engine: Pos 2.8 pulled and replaced with a 350 tpi motor converted to carb.
Transmission: 700r4, vette servo,shift kit, hayden 15"x8" trans cooler.

Not my car but a friend of mine wants to go back to carb no more computer. Any ideas on a good manifold and carb setup? He has no computer so im trying to gather info for him. he has a very low mile 2.8 in the car. thnx

you could always go aftermarket with a torker II by edelbrock. then run a small four barrel... go to www.edelbrock.com see if you can't see anything....

well the edlebrock site has manifolds, carbs, cams , lifters and i forget what else. seems its easier to mod a carbed 2.8 then a fi one. maybe ill ripp my fi off too. turn my motor into a *** motor (fageol ) but then again whould all that money get me more power then a mostly stock 350 would for less money?

350 might be better. But then you gotta strengthen suspension, and maybe new axle/gears. But you will probably spend a BUNCH of money to get NEAR the torque of a 350.

nope just new front springs and tranny, I already have a 342 posi rear in the car. I told the guy doing the fi to carb swap and hes set on keeping the v6.
