I have a 84 Firebird, V6 2.8 with the stock Verijet carb. Nothing custom on the car at all. I have been having issues with the idle running at around 1000 unless I tap the gas then it drops to 650. However now that I have had the car a year, and am driving it in the reain..I noticed something odd. On the days the pressure changes, IE the realy wet rainy ones, the idle is no longer at 1000, it falls normally to 650. What the devil is up with this behavior? Any ideas please post!
