I swap a 350 into my trans am and I'm having troubles with my carb ( edelbrock 750 cfm) because it's spitting out gas and I don't know why is that happening. My family and I built that engine, it has 305 heads, crane camshaft with 275 deg, edelbrock 750 cfm and it has a 180 psi compression.
If anyone has a clue please tell me

I assume you mean that when you run the engine (or attempt to) gas starts spraying out of the vent tubes and gushing all over the intake?

If so, you've got an inlet valve on the carb that is either stuck, has dirt in it, or the float is set way too high (high enough that it never fully closes the inlet valve).

Or the fuel pressure is way too high. What are you using for a pump? Regulator?

you should regulate the fuel pump psi to 6-7 1/2. also check your float levels. that will cause fuel to dump in also
