l recently rebuilt a 1973 rochester 4 bbl, after installing it, it runs absolutely great, theres only one problem, the carb responds and pulls throughout all the pedal positions, except at WOT, as soon as l the pedal reaches WOT, it causes the engine to seem like its almost "leveling out" it doesn't bog or surge, it just kinda gets stuck at one RPM. it doesn't misfire but it certainly doesn't sound right. the throttle response is great, until WOT, it runs great 1/2 3/4 and even about an inch away from WOT, but for some reason WOT causes problems, linkage is all clear and the secondaries are opening fine too.
