You'll need a lot more stall speed than 2800.
4000 rpm ball park. 3500 minimum.
What transmission are you using?
May be time to convert to a TH350 as a th700r4's overdrive does you no good with this much cam and that manifold.

The B&M swap kit works fine too. Use a new urethane trans mount.
The comp cams converter suggestion is an absolute minimum converter stall for a 350+ci motor.
A 327 with its smaller cubes and shorter stroke will have a higher rpm torque curve. and less low end torque. It will want a higher stall.
Same with the intake manifold. A more suitable higher stall will be just as streetable. Don't skimp on the rear gear ratio either.
Alright that makes sence now, as for stall speed should i look for a smaller durration or lift in the cam. I wat to try to keep the stall lower than 3000 if i can, because i want to beable to cruse this car on some nice weekends. As for gears, i think my 4.11's should be suffice, oh and i already have the spohn torque arm for a 700r4 so my question is if the torque arms are the same, i would just need a crossmember, which im sure steve will sell me seperate

Take a look at my sig. I use a 10" 3500 stall behind my 400ci with that cam. It's streetable. Actually drives very nicely on the street. I drive it to the track, and cruise on weekends etc, etc . Trust me, don't wimp out on the stall on this one.
A converter like mine behind your 327 will only stall at 3200+/- anyways. (less engine torque= lower actual stall speed)
The smaller the motor the more critical the matching of the converter to the torque curve of the motor.
keep in mind that most off the shelf converter are rated for stall on a 350ci motor, so a "2800 rpm stall" converter will only stall at about 2600stall behind a 327.
I'm sure Steve at Spohn Performance Inc. can help ya with the trans swap. Sounds reasonable to just change or modify the crossmember if you have a Spohn crossmember now.
