Get a Performer RPM Qjet and you won't need the spacer.

A performer RPM manifold and a Q jet with a common Qjet/square bore carb adapter should just fit under your hood IF you use the right aircleaner.

Here is the base you'll need

No, not off hand. You may find one through a automotive restoration parts dealer in Quebec.
Possibily at a automotive swap meet.

This air cleaner was used on many 1965/72 high perf small block and big block Chevelles
Beaumonts, Camaro's and Corvettes.

hey Pat,
goto Canadian Tire take an air cleaner of the shelf try it, if it still too high bring it back , get the money back and check with the clerk if they can look into there book for a dropbase aire cleaner... they can order it for you...

If you have "Dorteur du Par-brise" near you they usually can order perf stuff... Shop that sales mags also...

My car is a 87 Trans-Am, Manual 5spd, 305 <-- erk need more cubic inch in there... It has Hooker longtube with true dual 2" and 2 spintech pro-street mufflers, no ground clearance issue the system is custom bend to fit nicely, the lowest part of the car is the actual headers. Rust free, no winter car.

I'm selling it because of the lack of "confort" in this ride... it's just too stiff for me. I'm driving my other car instead wich is a 1980 malibu and i'm building a bbc 427 to drop it in, wich mean the sale of the T/A will increase my Malibu buildup greatly... street/strip car.Preaty much i want to kick my friend ***!!! lol. He has a 90 Blazer with a 383.

edit: I dont know centre mecanau... I live close to Montreal, where do you live? close to Quebec???

5000$ Canadian. Comes with the original parts that i have removed... manifold , muffler, carb...
It need repairs here and there... the spoiler would need to be change, the bird on the hood is all cracked, the headliner is saggin... stuff like that, I'm about to advertise it, still need to buy a low air cleaner and make my vacuum line a cleaner look.
