idle high
ok i just had my q-jet rebuilt and before it idled at like 650 mayb 500 it was reallly loooowww now it's hte opp. it's at like 1250 and 1000 in park and like 700 in drive and when i got form p to d i spin the back tire not good on tranny or engien so any help were i can find the ide screw cause i can't fidn it

ohh sorry one more thing when i turn the car to run one before start the carb clicks for like 30 secodns i dont' know y though and when i trun the car off it does it to

1st thing I'd check is whether the choke is coming off. Very often the choke power wire is left disconnected or comes off, so the choke stays partially on. This raises the idle.
Did you reinstall the carb, or did the person that did the rebuild install it? If the latter, take it back to them and get them to get it right.

no i put the carb back on and i bet thats the prop and infact i do know it is i can't find the wire that goes thier i thought i had it but it wont fit on he place so i dunno so lost on it
