i think the 600 will be fine.
the stealth has the largest plenum of the dual planes and would not be the best choice. A elelbrock performer would probably work great though.

the stealth isn't that big a of an intake

and a 600 will be just fine.

and i wouldn't run a edelbrock carb.

assuming the carb is a 4160. i wouldn't pay over $200 for everything.

then again if you have a stock LG4, i wouldn't buy it at all, your money would be better spent in other places.

on an LG4, everything else

realisticlly, start with exhaust. headers, cat, cat-back system.

get everything that is designed for a TPI setup it will bolt right up, and perform much much better.

then get an aircleaner that doesn't make the engine breath through a drinking straw. preferably a dual snoarkle setup. like the L69 cleaner.

the Lg4 came with one of the smallest cams ever installed in a SBC. get rid of it. the comp XE profile is pretty popular, something like a XE256 or XE262 would be pretty good.

the heads on the LG4 suck too, dump them.

after all that, then the intake and carb would make a noticable difference.

then again i wouldn't put too much time or effort into a 305. exhaust and an air cleaner is about as far as i would. if you want performance, there are much better platforms to start with.

i disagree with you on this. This intake is advertised to make power to 7200 PRM. i doubt he'll be anywhere near that. That's why i suggested the edelbroc. ...idle-5500.

But hey to each his own.

I personally have the stealth, but i also have a 375 HP 350 that's going to get a 200 shot.
