new carb problem

Transmission: rebuilt 700R4
new carb problem
i just put on a performer rpm intake and an edelbrock performer carb on my car and now the transmission wont shift
what is the problem/solution?

Engine: 283, 2.5,3.8 turbo 350
Transmission: powerglide,auto overdrive, th350,4L80
try adjusting the tv cable
