carb problem
hi my car is a 86 transam with a 350 engine which is just about stock besides a cam, my carb is an edelbrock performer 750 cfm carb. and it runs horrible it really bogs down on some starts and when i get to like 5,000 + rpms it fells like it shuts off. i was wondering if that carb is to big for the engine. i have the 600 cfm performer which I am in the process of rebuilding/ installing. just wanted to see what you guys had to say.

Has the car ever run properly? What distributor are you using?

the car really never ran right with that carb on it. i am using a stock distributor but is soon going to be switched to a msd ignition setup.
