Fuel Sending Unit
Fuel Sending Unit
swapping over to carb in a few weeks from tpi and have a question. where is the best place to get a sending unit for the gas tank. I will probably go with an electric holley fuel pump or maybe even a mechanical one but i have not decided which yet. cheapest place for sending unit i am assuming is local bone yard. will a 1st or 2nd gen fuel sending unit work? just curious if there are any other options. Anybody got any suggestions?

Best place would be a bone yard or the classifieds on this Board.
Or, take yours out, remove the electric pump, and put a piece of tubing/hose in its place.

Only thing I'm not sure about is how to retain the strainer. I am sure that the strainer should be retained, however.
