This dont look right....

First and foremost, this is for a CC-Qjet.

I took my carb out in order to put the 350 in, unfortunately for me it wasnt ME that took it out, I was trying to multitask so I let my friend take it apart while I disasembled other parts of the car, now he doesnt know what he did, and what it's supposed to look like... bleh.

I know that this return spring needs to go on the throttle cable, but I dont see where it hooks so that it will successfully "return" the cable, any help on that would be much appreciated.

And then this, the loose hanging wire below the throttle cable just doesnt look right either, I dont remember it showing bare metal before. This connects to the trans, and I dont have it hooked up to the trans yet since I cant figure out how lol... anyone have a picture of what this is supposed to look like?

BTW, I've done extensive searching, but I couldnt find any pictures that would really help me out.

One end of the sping goes in the throttle linkage right beside where you are holding the spring. The hole with the plastic insert in it. The other end goes into a hole in the bracket that holds the kick down cable and accelerator cable.

I answered the other one in the tranny fourm. Unhook the carb end and push the cable back thru the cable shell before you hook up the tranny side. No need to remove it from the bracket, just unhook it from the throttle linkage. Will make it easier.

the spring should attach here at the points i have circled. the kick down cable will pull tight once you get it hooked to the tranny. the end of the cable has an eyelet on it and there is a hook sticking outta the tranny were the cable goes in. just hook that cable up and your ready to go!
