Switch to carb?
Alright this is gonna take a few paragraphs to explain so i'll get right to it:
Heres some back ground information
My car is a 1989 Camaro with a stock 350 TPI, recently rebuilt and the transmission is brand new, i just bought the car recently so i'm not sure what the transmission is
, either 700r4 for a 4L60E.So anyways, heres my question.
I recently bought a Supercharger (Procharger P1SC) used and am wondering if what would be cheaper and better for my situation, Switch to carb or leave it TPI, cause with TPI its gonna cost me $550 bucks to get a chip burnt, gotta buy a new fuel pump and get some bigger injectors, i literally know nothing about carburators so any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your advise,
Trey

$550 for a chip burned, new fuel system, ect. And switching to a carb you'll have to do the exact same thing. A carb properly setup for a blow-thru supercharger could run ya over $500, gonna need a new intake, gonna need a new fuel pump, gonna need a new ignition...
In the end? You'll probably have the same result with both motors, considering all else is left stock.
