dunno.. it's a brand new Holley 110 GPH pump.. the previous one was a stock 350 $12 pump from AutoZone..

i've never had any fuel pump issues.. just this lean condition at cruse RPM with this bigger carb i've been running... it got alot better with the bigger pump but it's still there...

Were you using a bronze-tipped fuel pump pushrod?

Some roller cams need one to prevent wear.

I have an XR282HR, probably ground on the same core. I specifically asked them about the fuel pump pushrod and distributor gear, and they said that standard ones were fine on that core.

i talked to them the other day and they said it would be fine with a stock fuel pump, but not with any kind of 6 valve hi-pro pump. the guy said i'd need the bronze tipped pushrod to run this pump..

anyone wanna buy a low mileage XR270HR and run an electric fuel pump?

I'm kind of curious now about the internals of the pump. You wouldn't want to post a picture of it disassembled, would you?

I'm just curious how it differs from a normal diaphragm pump.
