coil questions
alright, we put a holley and a non-cc dizzy on my buddy's berli. but, with money being tight all the way around, we decided to re-use the cap/coil/rotor from the cc dizzy. does anyone know if they are interchangable? we can get the car to start and run and rev, but after it heats up, it will shut-off. the whole time it sounds like it's not running on all 8, but we JUST put new plugs and wires in the car. they are DEFINITELY in the right place and the dizzy is DEFINITELY in the right place (we went to #1TDC and put it in the hole right). so...any ideas?

I don't know the answer to your question Matt, but I have a spare near new cap and rotor and maybe a coil I will bring with me next weekend Kody can have. Just clearing some crap out the 'ole garage.

They're interchangeable. Everything on my firebird was pretty much new except for the blown motor. I put in a 350 and non cc distributor and replaced with the new coil and cap from the 305.
